Places of interest in Chiba
Flames from regional flame celebrations taking place in several locations in the prefecture will come together to become Chiba Prefecture’s Flame in Ichihara City.
Some of the places the torch will visit on its journey across Chiba include: “Chiba Harmony Plaza” in Chiba City, a facility dedicated to gender equality and welfare; and Chiba Port Arena, a competition venue for a number of Paralympic sports.
It is anticipated that the Regional Flame Celebrations and Torch Relay will give everyone an opportunity to think about a fully-inclusive society.
