The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games is currently conducting a wide range of measures to ensure they deliver a fully inclusive Games that are accessible to everyone - regardless of physical or intellectual impairment.
The Tokyo 2020 Accessibility Guidelines
Working closely with relevant government organisations, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, relevant municipal authorities and organisations for persons with impairments, the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee has created its Tokyo 2020 Accessibility Guidelines, which has been approved by the International Paralympic Committee.
Tokyo 2020 plan to provide an enhanced environment that will secure more opportunities for access to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games - regardless of any impairment while also contributing to the realisation of a fully inclusive society in which all people are accepted and respected just as they are.

“A Handbook to Accessibility Support”
To make the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games a historic event that will remain in the minds of people, Tokyo 2020 has created the “A Handbook to Accessibility Support (Ver.1)” which can be used by all staff at the Games.
This handbook is intended to be used by the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee as a handy tool of reference while managing the Games.
