Paralympic champion Markus Rehm has not given up hope of being able to compete against non-impaired athletes in the future. The 2014 German national long jump champion, who won that title in an open competition, has not been allowed to take part in such events as he has not been able to prove that his prosthetic blade does not give him an undue advantage. "My intention is still to compete together," he says. But his focus remains on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and a third gold medal, and possibly breaking the world record.
