Tokyo 2020 Games Foundation Plan

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games has completed its Games Foundation Plan to ensure the successful delivery of the Tokyo 2020 Games. This plan was submitted to the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee.

The Games Foundation Plan provides the basic framework for preparations for the 2020 Games. It will serve as the starting point for the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee to begin planning the successful delivery of the Games.

Host City Contract 2020

This contract was first signed by the IOC, the TMG and the Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC), following Tokyo's selection as the host city of the Games on 7 September 2013. When Tokyo 2020 was created in 2014, they signed a Joinder Agreement to become a full party to the Host City Contract 2020.

The agreement modifying the Host City Contract 2020 to clarify the rights of its parties to disclose the Host City Contract 2020 and certain related documents.

Host City Contract Operational Requirements: December 2016 version

The appendix to the Host City Contract, issued by the IOC and outlining specific deliverables and requirements applicable in the performance of the Host City Contract by its parties.

Addendum No.3 to the Host City Contract 2020

The agreement clarifying that the Host City Contract Operational Requirements 2016 will be applied at the occasion of the Tokyo 2020 Games, subject to certain adjustments agreed between the parties.

Addendum No.4 to the Host City Contract 2020

The agreement to make necessary amendment to the Host City Contract 2020 due to the postponement of Tokyo 2020 Games.

Tokyo 2020 Guidebook

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government have jointly produced a guidebook that presents an overview of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Bid Committee submitted its 14 chapter Candidature File to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) headquarters in Lausanne on 7 January 2013.
