The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games is currently conducting a wide range of measures to ensure we deliver a fully inclusive Games that are accessible to everyone - regardless of physical or intellectual impairment.
The Tokyo 2020 Accessibility Guidelines
Working closely with relevant government organisations, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, relevant municipal authorities and organisations for disabled persons, the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee has formulated its Tokyo 2020 Accessibility Guidelines, which has been approved by the International Paralympic Committee.
We plan to provide an enhanced environment that will secure more opportunities for access to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games - regardless of any impairment, and contribute to the realisation of a fully inclusive society in which all people are accepted and respected just as they are.

“A Handbook to Accessibility Support” portable format for the staff
To make the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games a historic tournament that will remain deeply in the minds of the people, and to welcome visitors from around the world with the best Japanese-style hospitality “OMOTENASHI”, the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee has created the "A Handbook to Accessibility Support (Ver.1)” which can be used by all staff at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
This handbook is intended to be used by the the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee as a handy tool of reference while managing the games.
