On 8 October, World Athletics President Sebastian Coe visited the state-of-the-art Olympic Stadium (National Stadium) in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward. He also met with Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee President MORI Yoshiro to discuss preparations for the revised Olympic Games (23 July - 8 August 2021).
