Fans will be able to apply for tickets to the Olympic Games through the lottery phase until 28 May, providing plenty of time to make requests. This is the best chance for Japanese residents to get the tickets that they want for the Games. An English version of this pre-registration page will be launched soon.
Should they not be successful in the lottery, residents of Japan will still be able to request tickets during the first-come, first-served phase, which will commence in autumn 2019.
A further phase of ticket sales will start in the spring of 2020, offering first-come, first-served sales on a global basis. Details will be announced later.
In order to plan their Olympic experience, fans are encouraged to visit the Tokyo 2020 Official Ticket Website, which is published in Japanese and English and accessible at Tokyo 2020 Official Ticket Website.
