Men's Wrestling Greco-Roman 130kg Final
It was the battle of the super heavyweights. Aleksandr Karelin from the Soviet Union, who had just turned 21 a few days before, had dominated the category for many years and was out to prove why he was the man to beat. But in the other corner was Rangel Gerovski from Bulgaria, who had given a stellar performance all throughout the Games, and was hoping to end Karelin's winning streak.
Both eyeing Olympic gold, it was a head-to-head battle to the finish.
