Mitsui Fudosan to Give an Olympic and Paralympic Makeover to Tokyo's Famous Nihonbashi District

Tokyo's famous Nihonbashi neighbourhood is getting a superb Olympic and Paralympic makeover that will showcase the beauty of the city and stir passion for the 2020 Games.

For a two-week period (10-25 Oct.) coinciding with the 51st anniversary of the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, more than 20 locations around Tokyo will be adorned with Olympic and Paralympic-related decorations.

Giant posters featuring Olympians and Paralympians, and banners will be positioned in several locations and buildings facades will be illuminated with the Olympic colours. A state-of-the-art audio and video system will also be installed on the ceiling of an arcade to create the atmosphere of a futuristic stadium.

This city-dressing operation is organised by Mitsui Fudosan, the Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner for Real Estate Development.
