Confirmation of your intention to participate as a Tokyo 2020 Field Cast (Games Volunteer) during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the Field Cast Journey that lies ahead

Following the decision to postpone the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 to next year, the new dates and venues for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 were confirmed on 17 July.

We have emailed all Tokyo 2020 Field Casts and ask that you confirm your intention to continue your participation as a Field Cast (Games Volunteer) during the Olympic Games.

We are requesting all Field Cast to send us confirmation so that we can gain an accurate number of Field Casts who can volunteer during the Olympic Games, as well as those who wish to withdraw their participation. This information will be crucial to our volunteer operation so your response will be mandatory.

Response deadline: Thursday 20 August at 5 p.m. (Japan Standard Time)

We have sent an email to all Field Casts. Please check your email inbox.

*All Field Casts who have agreed to volunteer during the Olympic Games must reply.

*We will send a separate confirmation email to those who intend to volunteer during the Paralympic Games.

If you reply, “Yes, I can/will participate as a volunteer” or “I am considering participating as a volunteer”, we will continue to send you various volunteer-related information.

If you reply, “I wish to withdraw my application as a Tokyo 2020 Field Cast”, please complete the withdrawal procedure on My Page.
