Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium

Venue Overview

Located in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture, the stadium is part of the Azuma Sports Park, which is divided into four recreational spaces: the Sports Area, the Nature Area, the Family Area and the History Area. Baseball and Softball have been included in the Tokyo 2020 Games as additional events and some matches will be hosted here.

Access during the Pre Games
Approx. 10 minute drive from the Fukushima-nishi IC on the Tohoku Expressway
Approx. 20 minute drive from Fukushima Sta.
Approx. 30 minute bus ride from Fukushima Sta. (Bound for Sabara from Bus stop No. 7 at the East Exit of Fukushima Sta..)

Please use public transportation to access the venue.
Stations may be added or changed.
Accessible routes would be available at Fukushima Station.
A park-and-bus ride service (a spacious parking lot for cars, and a shuttle bus that runs between the parking lot and the venue) is under consideration.


  • Because more than the ordinary number of passengers may be using public transportation during the Games, it may take longer than the required time that is provided on the Internet. It may also take longer to walk from the station to the venue, so we suggest that you give yourself ample time.

  • Please note that during the Games, you may be instructed to use a route that is different from the ordinary route used to access the venue.
